For nuisance wildlife (i.e. raccoons in attic, squirrels) Animal Control makes available humane live animal traps.  Persons interested in using one of our traps may be required to place a security deposit ($25.00 Check ONLY- No Cash) down.  If you are a resident of the City of Bowie, Animal Control will deliver and setup the trap. Traps are allowed to be rented for two week periods.  If an animal is caught in a trap, immediately call for a pick up at 872-2251, place the trap out of direct sunlight (for those hot summer days) or cover the trap with a blanket (for those cold winter days), an animal control officer will pick up the trap and replace it with an empty trap if needed and available.
